In Bratislava on Saturday, 3 December the first meeting of players interested in the representation of Slovakia at the World lacrosse championship in Manchester, England, to be held July of 2018.
At this meeting, the players were familiar with the facts that must be met in order to be able to wear the national team jersey and at the same time were taken admission tests which should show the current status of each physical potential.
Current are in the national team 28 players, while the World Cup will travel 23-members. This means that each player will have potential in preparation for himself if he wants to incorporate into the final nominations actually get.
Most players are from lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava 15. After one player from Skalica, Trnava and Zvolen. The rest are players from European leagues, respectively players with Slovak roots.
The closest the team, will meet in the tournament in Budapest 6–8. January 2017 which officially will start preparing for the World lacrosse championship 2018.
