Tricksters won two games in DLL

On Sunday, another round of the Danube Lacrosse League (DLL) was held in Bratislava, organized by the lacrosse club Tricksters Bratislava and managed 100% to use the home environment and win both games.

In the first game Tricksters played against Austrian team from Graz and won 14:3. The match was clearly in the hands of Tricksters, when in the first quarter led 7:0 they beat the pace and were playing other players from the roster. In the second game, which followed only 10 minutes after the second, Tricksters won 9:3 against Hungarian club from Budapest, but this match was a bit harder than the score says. After the first quarter, Tricksters led only 1:0 when they couldn’t take advantage of the many chances to score goals. In the second quarter at 3:0, the opponent dropped to one goal, but then Purgat started to score and with 6 goals broke an opponent who couldn’t think much ahead, and Tricksters made an important win to the pool. In this match, Kramár scored his 500 goal in a club career, making Tricksters the best since our club is making statistics.

Purgat, who scored 11 goals, added 3 assists to the top of the scorer as well as the productivity of our club in the current season, was clearly the best player of the round.

In the third match of the day, Budapest and Graz took up the game. Eventually, the players of our southern neighbour enjoyed the victory, guarding a tight victory of 9:8 in a dramatic conclusion. At first half, the match was quite clear when Hungarians dominated. In the second half of the match, however, the Austrians raised their pace and managed to correct the match. The last 2 minutes to the end of the match were trying to balance the game, but there was no time left for them to reverse the unfavourable state.

The closest DLL will come back to Bratislava, when our boys will be playing with Ljubljana on May 12th.
